SHIPPING RATES & POLICY
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, the regular processing time for orders is 1 to 2 working days. Order status will be sent to you via e-mail once the product has shipped. This will include your Order Number which you are to keep for future reference until the product has been delivered.
Except for orders where shipping services have been waivered, all orders placed on this website will be shipped by means of courier services. Shipping costs depend on the items purchased, the delivery address and the delivery options selected by the customer during check out. Please refer to the 3rd step of the checkout process for shipping calculations.
• Waivering shipping services:
Clients may chose to purchase items without delivery. When “No Shipping” is selected the order will be processed without adding delivery charges. leneartgallery.com takes absolutely no responsibility for the delivery of these goods whatsoever. This facility is included strictly for clients who choose to collect their products in person from Lené Pienaar’s private studio on Pretoria. All responsibility for such collections falls into the clients own hands. Collection address and telephone numbers will be e-mailed to the client in order to make arrangements for such collections.
Shipping rates are calculated according to the product’s size, weight and delivery address. Please refer to the 3rd step of the checkout process for calculation of your order’s shipping costs. You may cancel your order without any further obligation so long as such cancellation is done before the “Confirm” stage (the 5th step) of your checkout.
Shipping is done door to door and a physical delivery address and contact person’s number will need to be supplied by the recipient.
All orders placed on leneartgallery.com will be shipped from Lené Pienaar’s Studio based in Pretoria, Gauteng, South African. These shipments are made in accordance with a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
The client, and or chosen recipient, is responsible for all local importduties and sundry charges which may occur due to your local national laws.
The provision of goods and services by Lené Pienaar Studios is subject to availability. However all out of stock items can be manufactured on demand if necessary. In the unforeseen event of that stock cannot be manufactured (or if the original painting is already sold or a limited edition print run is sold out), Lené Pienaar Studios will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 25% administration fee.
All stock is shipped from Lené Pienaar Studios and/or representative fulfillment centre in pristine condition. Great care is taken to ensure that products are sufficiently packed and handling instructions are sent with the parcel for the recipient. In the unlikely event that goods should arrive already having been damaged the following policy will be followed:
• For original oil paintings:
The client may return the painting (at their own cost) and every attempt will be made to restore the work to it’s original condition. If this is possible it will be reshipped to the client (at no further charge). If restoration is not possible the client will be refunded the full purchase price within 30 days. The client may also request a commissioned work to replace the damaged one, this option must be negotiated in person with the artist since each case provides differing limitations.
• For all other physical products (except original oil paintings) sold on this website:
The client may return the product (at their own cost) if this is done within 48 hours of receiving the goods. Upon arrival at Lené Pienaar Studios it will be inspected, replaced and the new product/s will be shipped back to the client (at no further charge).
